These songs were released in 1993 on the album Der Rauch Am Wasser, German for 'Smoke on the Water'.
Reader's Guide
GeroMetal occupies a niche in Serbian heavy metal history as a band that blended classic rock covers with local humor and comic book culture. Their debut album Der Rauch Am Wasser (1993) is notable for its playful Serbian-language reinterpretations of iconic songs. The band's connection to comic book artist Bane Kerac, who created the superhero Cat Claw, gave their second album a unique visual identity. Though their active career was brief and largely regional, GeroMetal's two studio albums remain a curiosity for fans of Balkan metal and humorous rock. Their legacy is tied to the Novi Sad rock scene of the 1990s, as documented in the reference NS rockopedija. The band's dissolution led to the formation of High Risk, continuing the musical lineage of its members.
